What would people be surprised to hear about the Space Coast: Last year NASA's Kennedy Space Center supported a record number of launches from the Space Coast. We are excited to see if they can make history and do it again this year with a record number of launches! It's one of the largest in the area and is exclusive to guests staying there!

Favorite Hidden Gem: Cafe Surfinista for their great local surf vibe, coffee and acai bowls.

What people would be surprised to hear about the Space Coast: I'd say the most common surprises I hear from our guests is how relaxed and charming Cocoa Beach is, and how many things there are for families to do beyond enjoying the beach (things like bioluminescence tours, fishing, space camp, aerial adventure, go karting, etc.)

What do you love most about working at Happy Palm Stays?: It's the fun, energetic, family atmosphere we all bring working with each other, helping our guests, or enjoying our get-togethers outside of work! It's very difficult to describe but for those who've become part of a small family company, passionate about the mission, it'll be easy to relate!

What do you love most about working at Happy Palm Stays?: It has the culture of a small family run company, while still being focused on providing a first rate experience for both our guests and property owners. Favorite Restaurant: Salsas Cocina

Hidden Gem: Manatee Sanctuary Park in Cape Canaveral

What would you be surprised to hear about the Space Coast:

There's so many tucked away waterside eating establishments to enjoy when you come and visit us! You can enjoy a gorgeous sunset on the river or a sunrise with a mimosa beachside! We're perhaps a thirty minute drive from historic Cocoa Village, established back some time in 1800s. Our Pier has been around since the 60s too, I remember when there was once an arcade I loved as a kid! Perhaps more well known is the Kennedy space center as well as our port where you can see the cuisine ships coming in to dock and even check a glimpse at the Space X thrusters stored between launches in the harbor! The Space Coast is constantly developing! There's honestly a lot of history to learn about the area and our town, plenty of activities to enjoy and beautiful days, everyone has to just come and see it for themselves!

Perfect Day in Cocoa Beach? I'm a simple individual, my perfect day is spent with my friends at the beach or any of our favorite hangouts. If everyone's away, I frequent our coffee shops, libraries and parks to read and draw my art while listening to good music. Everyday is another opportunity to expand my horizons in our wonderful town.

What do you love most about working at Happy Palm Stays? What I love the most is how helpful and kind everyone is one our team and how appreciated everyone makes me feel. My confidence and spirit has greatly been uplifted by my peers and I would do everything in my ability to do the same for them. We're like one big family!
